Fort Garry

This community straddles Pembina Highway in the south side of Winnipeg, and is nestled between Taylor Ave to the north and Bishop Grandin Blvd to the south. This community is midway between the University of Manitoba campus and downtown and snug against several curves in the Red River.

The Fort Garry community, east of the industrial areas is mature and includes a mix of single family homes, condominiums, and apartments. Fort Garry encompasses the neighbourhoods of Wildwood, against the Red River, Beaumont nestled against the industrial parks to the west, and Maybank in the south. Schools

This community’s schools are managed by the Fort Garry School Division #5.
