South of Wilkes Ave and Wilkes/Waverly Park with its small lake is the community of Linden Woods, which has been under development for the past 15 years. This recently built community is centered around a 13 acre lake and adjoining Van Walleghem Park and Muys Park. The community already has 1800 homes, with another 600 planned. The green creates a relaxed atmosphere in a community surrounded on three sides by industrial parks. This southern community has good road access to the airport as well as the University of Manitoba campus. The average sale price for a home in this area is $434,515.
